Two directors, one trade: custom sourcing

Markindus, founded in 2006, was taken over by Matthieu Villez and David Brac de la Perrière in 2016. They previously ran a household-appliance distribution business together for twenty years. Backed by that solid, lasting partnership, they take on your projects, from the first idea to delivery at the warehouse.

A specialist in custom sourcing, Matthieu turns clients' ideas into products: targeted maker search, purchasing, project management and monitoring through to delivery. His regular factory visits secure close relationships with makers chosen for their skill and reliability.

Before Markindus, Matthieu spent ten years in media advertising (press and outdoor) in Paris. In 1998, he and David took over Comptoir National, a wholesale household-appliance distributor in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, which they diversified into online sales from 2010 with the purchase of Boutique-Plus.com. They took over Markindus in 2016, alongside selling Comptoir National.
